Lindsay May is a BC singer-songwriter who writes silken, blues-soaked country songs with guitar and mandolin, full of place, grit and heart. She has released four albums and two EPs, including Shimmer (2012) and the Creative BC-supported Christmas record Sweet Cinnamon, and was a 2012 Kerrville New Folk Finalist. She has showcased at NERFA, opened for Valdy, Shari Ulrich and John Gorka, and toured North America twice and Europe four times. One reviewer said that "every guitar slide, breathy harmony and note is Nashville-quality."

This fall she returns with "Solstice Night," a new Christmas single, out now: a soft country-pop song about the longest night of the year and the healing light that follows. A new EP is planned for 2027. You can also catch her with her band The Mayhem, or singing with the funk band Majesty. Same voice, different rooms.
